About the Course

Starting with the basics such as mixology and bar setup, the outcome-based bartending curriculum moves quickly into subjects such as time management, philosophy and tip maximization.

The whole certification process can be completed in as little as one weekend depending on how well you are grasping the material. Alternatively you can take as long as you want if you have a busy schedule to work around.

The test consists of 100 multiple choice questions ranging in scope from mixology, drink history, customer relations, tip maximization and other fundamental subjects relating to bartending. The test requires a minimum score of 70% or higher in order to be eligible for certification and takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

Upon successful completion you will be mailed your Nexgen certification package. Included in this package is a wallet sized laminated certification card with your name and unique identification number on it.
